Have the experience to + verb ~をした経験があります

「~をした経験があります」と言うときに、(have the experience+ to 不定詞)を使う事がありますが、 一般的に「~したことがある(ない)」という意味では、現在完了形(have(never)+過去分詞)を使用します。 I had the experience to go to Europe. I have been to Europe. (私はヨーロッパに行った事があります) Have experienceは、主に採用面接などで、特定の分野での経験を述べるときに使われます。 I have two years’ experience in sales. (私は2年の営業経験があります) またこの場合、have experienceの後にはto不定詞が続くことはなく、現在完了形がつきます。 I have no experience to work in sales. I have never worked in sales. (私は営業の経験がありません)

Agendas vs. items on the agenda アジェンダの使い方

今回は、誤って複数形で使われやすいagendaを取り上げます。 課題やプレゼンの項目数を挙げる場合、通常agendaは単数形で使用します。 I have three agendas. I have three items on my agenda. (お話する項目は3つあります) Agendaはlist of items(項目リスト)の事を表します。 このため、three agendaと言ってしまうと「3つの項目リスト」となってしまい、聞き手を混乱させてしまう場合があります。 Agendaは1つの会議やプレゼンで扱う議題全体のことで、個々の議題やテーマではありません。 例えば、プレゼンで価格、実施時期、サポートについて話したい場合は下のように表現します。 I have three items on my agenda: pricing, timing and support. (お話しする項目は3つあります。価格、実施時期、そしてサポートについてです) 会議の司会であれば、下記のようにいう事も出来ます。 We have three items on our agenda today. Let’s start with the first item, pricing of our new product. (本日の議題は3つあります。それでは一つ目の新製品の価格からはなし始めましょう)
